“The most important period of life is not the age of university studies,
but the first one, the period from birth to the age of six”.

Our passion for education shows in each child’s joyful eyes, in each directress’ inspiring voice, and in each environment’s inviting warmth. Founded by Montessorian Kritika Chowdhary, we aim to equip children, from 12 months through 6 years of age, with knowledge for life. We follow the Montessori method of education based on the principles and philosophy given by Dr. Maria Montessori.
Our mission at Little Miracles is to create a carefully planned, child-friendly stimulating Environment (not a classroom) where in all the Montessori guidelines and principles are implied in its purest form. We aim to act as Montessori Guides (not teachers) and help children flourish as independent and joyous children today and as successful and confident adults tomorrow. With care, love, and attention; we strive to make learning a wonderful experience by kindling the hidden curiosity and potential within each child.

Dr. Maria Montessori was an Italian physician, innovator and educator who is best known for her philosophy on child education. She opened the first Montessori school—the Casa dei Bambini, or Children's House—in Rome on January 6, 1907.In Rome, she began her scientific investigation and observation of children research, which formed the foundation of her educational theory. She observed that children possess an innate desire to explore, discover and learn about their world. The basic idea in the Montessori Philosophy of education is that all children carry within themselves the person they will become. In order to develop physical, intellectual and spiritual potential to the fullest, the child must have ‘freedom’; a freedom to be achieved through order and self- discipline.
In India, the term “Montessori” is loosely used to describe any nursery, preschool,
playhouse, kindergarten, daycare, etc. When the term “Montessori” is taken, it is assumed
that it caters to young children. However, “Montessori” is actually a way of
teaching or a method of teaching. And a Montessori school is very different than a
Montessori education derives from the work of the educationist Maria Montessori, who discovered that children learn the most from experiences in the environment rather than listening to the teachers in a classroom. Montessori philosophy believes that every child is born with a creative mind and a drive to learn.
